University self-catering accommodation
Newly built university self-catering residence 10 minutes walk from Broadstairs town centre and 5 minutes from the new Westwood Cross shopping centre. There are two large supermarkets within 5 minutes walk of the residence, each open 24 hours a day and with cafe/restaurant.

Single room accommodation with private bathroom (with shower) en-suite. Each set of five bedrooms has a communal kitchen with cooker, microwave, freezer, fridge, hi-fi as well as pots, pans, plates and cutlery. Each room has bed, wardrobe, desk, chest of drawers, 2 chairs and desk light. All bedding, as well as a towel, is provided.

Each person is given an electronic key which opens the main gates to the residence as well as to their individual room. There is a deposit of £25 for this, collected on arrival and returned on presentation of the electonic key on departure.

Car parking is available outside the residence (not secure) at no cost. There is also laundrette facilities available at all times.

Free bus pass
You will receive a 'Megarider' bus pass in your welcome pack when you arrive at the residence, allowing you unlimited travel around Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate free of charge. This ticket will therefore enable you to get to and from the school as well as to visit the local area.

In the mornings, the no. 34 bus leaves from the bus stop in front of the residence at 8:35 or 9:05 and takes 12 minutes to get to Margate (50 metres from the school) - classes begin 9:30. There are regular return buses throughout the afternoon and evening on the hour and the half hour.
