Nearly all our students choose to stay with a local homestay host. This ‘Homestay’ offers excellent value and allows you to practise your English after school and learn more about life in England. Our Homestay hosts are friendly and caring and will make you feel very welcome in their clean and comfortable homes. You will have a single bedroom with study facilities, and meals with your hosts. There may be another MLC student of a different nationality in the home at the same time.

Your homestay host will provide you with half-board during the week (breakfast and evening meal), and fullboard at weekends (breakfast, lunch and evening meal).

We can provide suitable homestay for most preferences; for example a non-smoking home, or a home without pets or perhaps a host who can prepare vegetarian meals. Homestay is normally halfboard during the week and fullboard at weekends. As our language school is in the centre of town, you can buy lunch from a variety of sandwich bars, pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants.

Our Accommodation Manager will ensure you are entirely happy and comfortable during your stay and will help you to feel at home in your accommodation.
