Our Standard English course is a popular course for adult students who wish to combine morning English classes with free time in the afternoons for personal study or excursions.

The Standard Course focusses on general English and is designed to improve all aspects of a student's level of English: listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and pronunciation. We offer classes at all levels from elementary to advanced.

Students on long-stay Standard English courses will be given monthly tutorials to chart their progress and ensure they are happy inside as well as outside the classroom. They are also given guidance on constructive ways to use our self-study centre to improve their English.
