Accreditations

The British Council English in Britain Accreditation Scheme monitors and improves standards of management, teaching, resources and welfare in organisations teaching English as a foreign language in Britain. They do this through regular inspections.

ENGLISH UK members offer assurance of quality; provide high quality teaching, employ a welfare officer, have a 24 hour emergency helpline; select accommodation of a high standard; explain all charges clearly; have a complaints procedure and access to an independent Ombudsman; ensure high standards of health and safety.
